Welcome to Valley Heights Jr./Sr. High School,
the "Home
of the Mustangs."
We are a 7-12 building which has an enrollment of approximately
200 students along with 30 faculty/staff members, joining
together the communities of Blue Rapids and Waterville.
Our goal is prepare our students for success
through the efforts of school, home and community. Our students
are great students who take tremendous pride in their education
by holding themselves accountable for their efforts. We have a
caring, competent, and committed staff, which strives to make
sure that every student reaches their potential and believe that
high expectations produce high results. Our students are
ultimately responsible for their success. Their responsibility
begins with good attendance, class participation, and includes
making quality decisions using our 5 guiding principles;
1) I am responsible for my actions.
2) I show respect and courtesy for myself and others.
3) I contribute a positive learning environment.
4) I strive for excellence.
5) I leave it better than I found it.
Our community is constantly providing
outstanding support to our young people of Valley Heights, which
is irreplaceable. We appreciate them for their help and
continued support as we prepare our students for a positive and
productive future.
Joining all of these great people as a big
family shows why Valley Heights has a reason to celebrate
achievements and welcome challenges. We have all the pieces
directly aligned for success. We must continue to work together
to continue our motto,

we achieve."
