Valley Heights Jamboree

Valley Heights Jamboree “You ain’t done it yet” is the teams’ motto which came from Coach Lee. Lee says the football team has potential, but potential does not mean anything until you work for it. This season, KSHAA has allowed teams to have a jamboree (a minimum contact event) before the start of the season. Valley Heights traveled to Clay Center on August 30 to compete in their first jamboree against Clay Center and Riley County.

Tyler Wagner said, “The jamboree was a huge event for us. It allowed us to go game speed in game-like situations, instead of going against our Junior Varsity. It showed us, and the coaches what the team needs to work on to become better.” He went on to say, ” We did a great job at the jamboree, but we still have a lot to improve on if the team wants to reach our goals that we set before the season.”
