DON’T STOP RUNNING. “Cross Country is unlike any sport that I have participated in. It’s a sport that is for the tough and only the tough.” says Sam Vermetten. Girl high school participants include: Abby Lister, Emma Brungardt, and Payton and Paige Woodyard. Vermetten placed 6^th out 63 runners, Lister placing 35^th, Paige Woodyard in 53^rd, Brungardt in 56^th, and Payton Woodyard placing 59^th. As a team the girls finished 7^th out of nine teams. On the high school boy’s side, Aiden Nemechek and Christopher Whitaker ran. Whitaker finished in 63^rd out of 69 runners, and Nemechek finishing in 67^th. “It was a great weekend with beautiful weather. We all ran pretty well, however we will keep working away at practice to become even better.” says Whitaker.
