DIFFERENT BREED

The Valley Heights girls and boys basketball teams traveled to Solomon on January 28th to play in their first game after the TVL Tournament. The Solomon girls only had five players able to play due to sickness at the school. The girls jumped out to an early lead and didn’t stop. They cruised to a 70-16 win which put them 12-1 on the season. “It was hard to play your best against a team that only has five players and just shoot but we did our best,”  Emma Yungeberg.

The boys also jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. The boys ended up winning 60-25 and had many scoring contributions. The boys are now 9-5 and looking to keep improving. Coming out of a hot tournament run, they look to host Wetmore on this Friday, January 31st
