SNAP! CRACKLE! POP!

SNAP! CRACKLE! POP!  According to Stanford Children’s Health, with around 30 million children and teens involved in sports each year, approximately 3.5 million experience an injury. The Valley Heights Football Team starts off strong with a record 5-0.  There has been one issue though, injuries. Through the course of the five weeks, five players have been injured including Bryan Yungeberg, Sr. (Dislocated Shoulder, Torn Labrum, and Broken Thumb), Payden Yungeberg, Jr. (Dislocated Hip), Colby Ratzloff, Fr. (Torn Shoulder), Trey Seimans, Jr. (Concussion), and Jeremy Reed, Jr (Broken Hand).  Bryan, Payden, and Trey are all out for the rest of the season, while Jeremy is playing with a cast and Colby’s shoulder is healed. Seimans said “Although our teams had some injury issues, I know we can work around those and still be successful.”
