LOOKING FORWARD

ChyAnne Field was born in Marysville, KS and recently started attending Valley Heights. She is the daughter of Elizabeth Field-Montanino and Bill Montanino Jr. Her mother has influenced her the most, because even during rough spots, she has never given up and always been there to support her. One saying that pushes ChyAnne daily is, “If you fall down, get back up and try, try, try again.”

In high school, she has been involved in track, art, and vocal. When she’s not in school, ChyAnne is busy taking care of her son, Zaviar. Her biggest accomplishment is being able to say that she is raising a son while working and still doing well in school. This shows how ChyAnne is strong willed and never gives up on anything. She works at East Side Café as a waitress in Blue Rapids.

Along with working and taking care of her son, ChyAnne is volunteering at the Blue Rapids Public Library as part of her Senior Project. This is benefiting others in the community by lending Lynn Turner, librarian a hand as well as assisting community members and children. ChyAnne plans to continue her education by going to Cloud County Community College for Early Education. But whatever she pursues, ChyAnne wants to be remembered here at Valley Heights as someone who never stopped looking forward or trying to get better.
