The Valley Heights Journalism Staff is working very hard on the 2018-2019 Yearbook. In the process of creating the yearbook, the staff members have the freedom to bring up any new ideas.
At the beginning of every year, the class takes a trip the the Jostens Workshop in Salina to design the yearbook cover and look at other schools’ designs. Each staff member is assigned pages to work on and use some of their own creativity, but before the book can be made, the staff has critique it, then Mrs. Coon and the Editors will look over it, then it is reviewed by two teachers.
Creating the yearbook is a long and sometimes stressful process but being able to look over what you and your fellow staff members created, is always worth it. Senior editor Rosa Blaske says, ”Making the yearbook is a long and hard thought out process, organizing, customer service, time management, team work, and dedication are just a few of the many things that go into making a successful yearbook to capture the moments of the 2018-19 school year.”
