Materials Needed for Class:

       3-ring notebook, 1" capacity
        5 dividers
        loose-leaf notebook paper       
        pencil and eraser

        graphing calculator    

       A TI-84 Plus graphing calculator will be checked out to students for use in class and at home. 

        Students will be responsible for care of the calculator.  Replacement cost is $100. 

        Prerequisite:    Core-Plus 4

You must be a senior to take college algebra.

This class may be taken for college credit through Highland Community College at their regular hourly tuition rate.

This course will provide the foundation needed to be successful in calculus.  It is a required course in college for virtually every major.
