Materials Needed for Class:

       3-ring notebook, 1" capacity
        5 dividers
        loose-leaf notebook paper
        pencil and eraser

      A TI-84 Plus graphing calculator will be checked out to students for use in class and at home. 

        Students will be responsible for care of the calculator.  Replacement cost is $100. 

        Prerequisite:    Core-Plus 1 (Some freshmen may qualify for Core-Plus 2 based on assessment scores, prior grades and teacher approval.)

This course will provide the next level of mathematics in the areas of number sense, geometry, measurement, trigonometry, algebra, probability and statistics. 

The textbook used will be Contemporary Mathematics in Context Course 2.
