School Reach
Keep your contact information up-to-date!
This year, our Power School system automatically updates the School Reach system every night. School Reach is a notification system that Valley Heights uses to keep parents, students, staff & community members updated on school events and cancellations. With winter approaching, please verify that your phone numbers are current. You can update your contact phone numbers when you login to the Power School Parent Portal. (If you need help with creating an account for logging into the Parent Portal or login issues, please call the school)
If you are a member of our community and would like to receive School Reach notification of school events, you can call the District Office - 785-363-2398 or High School Office - 785-363-2508 and have your phone number added to a "Community List".
Once you are logged into Power School, select "E-mail Notification" from the Navigation Menu.
From the "E-mail Notifications" page, click the link "Click here to update your School Reach Contact Information".
Update your phone numbers in the boxes on the School Reach Contact Information page.
Click the submit button at the bottom of the page when done in order to save the information.
Text messages are also an option with School Reach. This will be used at times also.
