Adjusting to High School

ADJUSTING TO HIGH SCHOOL. When moving from grade school to high school, there are many things that you have to get used to. Some of these include getting to class on time, getting used to the different classrooms, bringing everything you need for the next class, remembering what classes you have homework in, and many other responsibilities. 7th graders Caden Dummermuth and Royce Shoptese agreed that they both “liked the transition because we have more freedom to do what we want.” The main thing that is different for the incoming 7th graders is the opportunity to play sports. The sports that they are allowed to do are football, volleyball, cross country, basketball, and track. This brings the responsibility of staying eligible to play in all of their games. They also have to get to practice on time, while finding time to do their homework.
