The Valley Heights football team took on a tough team out of Alma-Wabaunsee Friday, October 11th. Valley Heights earned its fifth victory of the season with a 64-20 win. Cole Coggins rushed for 307 yards and Jake Yungeberg added over 100 yards as well. “We played well as a team but have lots to improve on. Our defense needs to start playing together and then we will get our flow back,” said Junior linebacker Evan Haines. “This week in practice all of us will be working extra hard on our defense and special teams.”
The football team has a tough road matchup this week against Northern Heights out of Allen but they believe they will get it done. “There are a lot of similar things to prepare for and we need to improve our overall game. We can win this game,” said Evan Haines
