Everyone always told me to take everything in and not take a game for granted because it all goes very fast. It was very evident to me on Friday night. I realized that my career at Valley Heights was almost over, so I will be working extra hard this week and so will my teammates to keep playing to keep the season going.” Said senior football player Cole Coggins The football boys lost the game to Centralia 38-20. The Mustangs received second in league and second in district as well.

Cheerleader seniors include: Megan Jones, Bailee Lister, Abby Lister, Seaira Nordquist, Haylee Whitson, and Kennedy Stevenson. “I’ve been a cheerleader since I was a freshman and I have enjoyed every minute of cheering with my friends. This year though especially, because I was selected to be the cheer captain this year. It is all a bitter sweet moment but I am loving every moment I get with all my friends and classmates,” said cheer captain and senior Megan Jones. When the seniors were asked what advice you would give to the underclassmen, they all agreed to take in every memory and not take anything for granted.
