SETTING UP FOR SUCCESS. Junior High Volleyball girls take home gold at their Blue Valley League Tournament Monday October, 21. The girls came into the tournament at Clifton-Clyde sitting 3rd with a record 15-4. The first round of the tournament the Mustangs played Lucky Junior High and after a well played game, they moved on to the second round. Once again, Valley Heights was able to come out on top to move on to the championship to play Clifton-Clyde. After a win against Clifton-Clyde, the Lady Mustangs were able to claim the 2019 BVL volleyball title. “It’s super exciting that we won, especially after how last year went. We have come a really long ways for sure. We improved our passing which really helped but we also the overall attitude of our team has changed.” Says 8th graders Delena Murk, Brooke Porter, and Kortlyn Roepke . Valley Heights finished 18-4 on the season and are very proud of their successful season.
