FAMILY IS EVERYTHING

FAMILY IS EVERYTHING.

Grandparents are important people in a child’s life. They can make a big impact with what they have learned just like parents. According to cliff.com, Grandparent’s Day, which is on September 10, 2017, was founded to persuade grandchildren to tap into the wisdom and heritage of their grandparents. Some Valley Heights students celebrated Grandparent’s Day.

“I celebrate Grandparent’s Day every year. I always go visit my grandparents about two or three times a week, maybe more. If I could take my grandma anywhere I would take her to Paris because she has always wanted to see the Eiffel Tower.” said Jacob Banks, Sophomore.

“I don’t celebrate grandparent’s day. If I did, I probably would be with her on that day, but I do visit her at least once a month. If I could, I would take my grandma to Utah. It’s one of our favorite places to go. When I am a grandma I would want to just have everyone together as a family and have a family meal.” said Amanda Merrill, Sophomore.
