THE SHOW MUST GO ON. The Valley Heights All School Play continues tradition and performs the annual school play. The year 2020 has brought many difficult situations to the Valley Heights staff, but cancelling the play was not an option to Mrs. Coon, All School Play director. “I am just so excited that despite all of the craziness we are able to still perform the play and carry on the tradition.” To help make sure the play goes on, a few changes had to be made. To keep the amount of cast members from gathering at one time, the play will be broken down into short vignettes with a smaller number of people performing. To keep the crowd size limited, the performances will be broken down to two weekends, November 13th,14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd.

The biggest change to this year’s play however, is that it will be performed at the high school, with seats sold beforehand. “I’m going to miss the Opera House. The smell and the feeling of being there just makes me think of play season, but I do like being at the high school and how close we are to the audience.” Says junior, Abigail Steinfort. Even with all of the adjustments being made this year, Mrs. Coon and the cast are looking forward to putting on another great show. First year cast member Parker Winslow says, “I wanted to come into high school trying everything. I am super excited about this year's play, and I plan on continuing to be a part of it for all four years.”
