STARTING OUT THE SEASON WITH A BANG

Members on the Valley Heights Forensics team attend Republic County forensics meet. Results for Prose: Hannah Musil placed second and Konner Treff placed fourth. In Humorous Abigail Steinfort placed 6th. In Improvised Duet Acting Haylee Whitson and Konner Treff placed 3rd, Rosa Blaske and Hannah Musil placed 4th, and Emma and Catherine Toerber placed 5th. In Serious Solo Acting Haylee Whitson placed 2nd, and in Oration Sam Hardin placed 1st and Rosa Blaske placed 3rd.

ā€œ We did really good for only having 11 members at our first meet. Third place in the beginning of the season means that we definitely have a chance to really improve as the season goes on and up our chance to get a first place trophy,ā€ said Haylee Whitson Jr. Members of the Forensics class have been practicing for the first meet since the beginning of the year. Sam Hardin, a Jr, says that.ā€ Not being in the Forensics class has affected my practice time, you definitely have to make your own time and these last few snow days have really helped.ā€
