“Everything happens for a reason” is a quote that inspires Senior Andrea Hudson. Andrea says, “ I know its a little cliche, but every time something goes bad, there's always something better that comes out in the end.” Andrea is the daughter of Ralph and Marta Hudson. Andrea has been involved in numerous activities including Volleyball, Track, Cheerleading, Drill Team, FCCLA, KAY, NHS, All School Play, Forensics, Peer Tutor and Art Club. Andrea’s biggest accomplishment is that she received a merit scholarship from Wichita State University. It showed her that all the hard work she has done throughout high school payed off in the end. Following high school, Andrea plans to attend WSU and major in psychology.

As she starts a new chapter in her life, Andrea thanks her teachers for teaching her how to be the best she can be. She says that she loves how they're always trying to help out every student as much as they can. She hopes to leave Valley Heights with people remembering her as a positive person, whether it was during a volleyball game, practice, or in the classroom. She wants to be remembered as the person who uplifted people's spirits.
