Over Christmas break Valley Heights FCCLA helped a local family put a few more gifts under the Christmas tree. Sponsor Ronda Joseph and eight members went to Manhattan to shop for the family recommended by Kris Hargrave through Parents as Teachers. Throughout the day, members bought clothing items and toys for the children along with gifts for the mother. Members felt privileged to help shop for the family “It was a great experience, i’m glad that we could help another family have a great Christmas that wouldn't be possible otherwise.” said first time shopper, Sr. Alex Hardin.
