FOREVER RIVALS.

FOREVER RIVALRY.

Friday, February 10th, the Mustang basketball teams travel to Centralia to take on the Panthers. Competing against the Panthers is a fan favorite for everyone: the coaches, the players, and the supporters. The varsity girls started the game well focused and ready to play. When the buzzer sounded, the scoreboard was 54-42, Mustangs! “After the game I was super excited. I felt like as a team we played very well and accomplished what we needed to,” said senior Kaylee Skalla.

When asking the head coach, Mr. Broxterman, how he felt after the game, he stated, “I was extremely pleased with how we played as a team. The girls were focused and knew their defensive assignments. They played loose and free, but still had lots of fun.” As the Mustangs are ending their regular season and heading into postseason, Coach Broxterman says  “I believe we are on the right track and will keep improving to finish the season on the right note.”
