SUB-STATE SEEDINGS.

SUB-STATE SEEDINGS. The Mustang basketball teams have had a tough regular season schedule packed full of great competition. Both teams are thrilled to start postseason play. The girls are heading into the sub-state tournament as a fifth seed, with a 12-8 record. Tuesday, February 28th the Lady Mustangs will be traveling to Easton-Pleasant Ridge (fourth seed) to take on the Rams for their first round of sub-state, beginning at six pm. Junior, Brooke Porter states, “We have been doing tons of offensive and defensive work. Also have been getting after one another to better ourselves before the big game!”

The boys are seeded at number four, with a 10-12 record. The Riverside Cyclones (fifth seed) will be traveling to take on our Mustangs at home on Monday, February 27th at six pm. Sophomore, Logan Gray states, “I am very excited to take on the Cyclones. As a team we have been preparing by: watching film and breaking down offensive and defensive techniques. I think the game will be great to watch with lots of competitive players and coaches!”
