Corban L'Ecuyer

LIFE IS A MYSTERY.  “ Live life to the fullest” is Corban L’Ecuyer’s favorite quote because you never know when it’ll be your last day so you have to live life and not take anything for granted.

Corban Stewart L’Ecuyer grew up in Waterville, Kansas. He was born on June 2, 2004 to his parents, Erik L’Ecuyer and April Lees. Corban has three siblings, Lexi L’Ecuyer, Jean-Luc L’Ecuyer, and Blane Lees. Corban has participated in Art 4 years, Robotics and Football 2 years and FFA 1 year.

Corban likes to listen to rap and country music. His favorite song is “Better” by Khalid or “Son of a Sinner” by Jelly Roll. Corban’s favorite food is Chinese. When Corban is asked what his ideal Friday night consisted of, he said. “ I like to hangout with the boys.”

Corban's dad, Erik, has impacted his life the most. He made him a hard working man, taught him right from wrong, and pushed him to do his best during everything he does. Mrs. Yungeberg and Mrs. Smith have also had a huge impact on Corban's life. Mrs. Yungeberg taught Corban how to be strong, push through school, and get his work done even through the difficult times. Mrs. Smith has helped Corban all throughout high school, but tremendously his junior and senior year, motivating him to get his work done on time and pushing him to do his best.

Corban’s favorite high school memory was when Torrance Crook threw a pie at Chad Kenworthys face during a pie throwing contest. Corban’s plans after high school are to work for Titan for another year to make more money. He then plans to apply at the University of Kansas, to become a therapist and study physiology. Some advice he would give to underclassmen, “don't fall behind in school and definitely not in Junior and Senior English. Also, Mrs. Yungeberg isn't really that bad and she does her best to help you, don't take that for granted.”
