AWESOME ARTS. The Marshall County Arts Cooperative Board gives me so many opportunities throughout my time as an Artistic Leadership Liaison, or ALL. The events put on by our board would not be possible without lots of communication, team work, organization, and cooperation. From golf tournaments, to concerts, to singing competitions, the MCAC Board really can do anything we put our mind to.

MCAC has taught me many valuable life lessons. Right now, the four ALLs on the board are in charge of planning and executing our own singing competition, called “The Voice of Marshall County”. We have had to use our communication and organizational skills to get details ironed out and to communicate with contestants. This competition will take place on April 28th at the Waterville Opera House. There will be nine high school students competing to be the next star of Marshall County. There will be awards for First, Second, and Third place; along with a People’s Choice Award.

MCAC values the ideas and interests of everyone in the Marshall County community. If you have an idea or something you would like to see in our area, you can email me at harmony.conti1@gmail.com. The MCAC board started the ALL program so that they can have a more youthful view on ideas and events. We are looking for 3 Artistic Leadership Liaisons for next year. If you know of anyone who might be interested in becoming a member of the board, you can contact me at the email listed above.
