MAKING IT BIG. “Everybody stay positive... no matter how negative life gets.” To Aden Ryan, this quote means that positivity outweighs negativity because happiness outweighs sadness. If being happy is better than being sad then being positive is better than being negative. Aden Walter Lane Ryan was born on January 31, 2005 to Cassy Ryan and Mike Conney. He also has a younger brother named Ruger. His favorite food is pizza and he enjoys chilling out at home or with friends. He is not originally from Kansas. He was born in Columbus, Wisconsin. Aden lived there for most of his childhood, then moved to Blue Rapids, Kansas when he was in eighth grade.

Aden is very straightforward with his thoughts and responses to questions. One thing that people don’t know about him is that he owns a Mazda RX8. When asked what his best accomplishment was, he again said, “...Owning an RX8.” The advice that Aden would give to younger children and underclassmen is, “Don’t buy an RX8.” This straightforward answer is why teachers and students enjoy having Aden at Valley Heights.

Aden is looking at several options for his future. He is considering going to the army or a vo tech
school. His only future goal is to make money. When asked where he saw himself in ten years,
he said, “broke.” He went on to explain, “You can either be rich or broke, and seeing where our
society is at this point in time, I don’t see myself making it big. It’s just not realistic.”
