MUSTANG’S KNIGHT TO SHINE. The naming of the Homecoming Candidates marked the beginning of the long-awaited VHHS Homecoming Week. Homecoming candidates are: Carson Spoonts, Maggie Toerber, Drake Slifer, Olivia Skalla, Kaison Bigham and Delana Murk. Dress-up days, powderpuff, spikefest, and the bonfire, are just a few things that make this week fun.
With the theme being: Nightmare on Mustang Lane, the classes are presented with the challenge of decorating their hallways on Sunday, September 24th. Then Wednesday, September 27th, is when the powderpuff and spikefest begins in the commons with a meal at 5:30 pm. Next on Thursday, the Mustang Bonfire will take place at 8:30 pm in the overflow parking lot. And finally on Friday there is the tailgate, the parade, the homecoming game, and the dance immediately after the football game. There are a lot of activities at the high school and for the community to participate in.
SPIRIT WEEK DRESS-UP DAYS:
Tuesday: Pajama Day
Wednesday: BBQ/Soccer Mom
Thursday: Scrabble- dress up as something that begins with the first letter of your name
Friday: Mustang Spirit Day
