COUNTY MATCHUP. The Valley Heights Mustangs take on the Riley County Falcons for the first basketball game of the year. The Mustangs with two new coaches, Coach Honas and Coach Cox, came with a new look for the Mustang boys basketball program.
“If we play our game and play hard we should come out with a win, we have to come ready to play as a team. We can’t come into the game just thinking it will come to us easily, ” said Coach Honas. The Lady Mustangs come back looking for another successful basketball season led by Coach Broxterman and Coach Steinfort. Coach Broxterman said, “The girls are ready to play against a very competitive team and Riley County is always a good game.”
The Lady Mustangs start off the night playing at six o'clock and the Mustang boys follow directly after at seven o’clock. Come and support your Valley Heights Mustangs at home.
