THE NEXT CHAPTER. Last Friday on January 26, 2024 Tyrel Wagner signed to play football at Bethel College fall 2024. Throughout high school, Tyrel has played football all four years. This year in particular, he got to really step up his game and show off his talent to colleges he was considering. Coach Trimble gave a great talk saying how much hard work Tyrel has put into football over the years, “He has a great work ethic and will do whatever it takes to win”.
Bethel is in the NAIA, KCAC, conference located in Newton, Kansas. Bethel College finished overall 6-5 in their league last season. When asked why Tyrel chose Bethel he said, “Bethel was the first place to give me an opportunity. When I attended my gameday visit, the vibe and hype on the sideline was crazy. It made me very excited and set them apart from the others. They are a welcoming school, and I’m excited for my opportunity next fall.”
