Oh the places you'll go

Oh The Places You’ll Go “Don’t Cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.” a quote by Dr. Seuss. Mason Lawrence Winslow lives by the quote, “You really can’t take time for granted, you just have to live in the moment” Mason was born on May 18, 2006 in Manhattan, Kansas to Shanna and Anthony Winslow. He is the younger brother to Jake Winslow.

Mason has been involved in the Art club for four years, currently president, KAYS one year, Robotics one year, FACS three years. Mason was asked who had the biggest influence through his high school career?  He said, “My grandma has had a huge impact on my life, she’s been there through thick and thin.”  Mrs. Miller Senior tutor said “He is such a talented young man and capable of so much. Her advice to Mason is to  "Always remember to set goals, practice self compassion and step out of your comfort zone, I can't wait to see all you accomplish in your next endeavor!”

Mason's plans after high school are to attend Emporia State and graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in information technology. Mason has always been big on technology. He is very helpful when it comes to it and he enjoys learning about it! Mason’s ideal night out would be going to Sonic with his friends and driving around.

Mason has always been a very calm person! He is someone you can count on and he always has a smile on his face. He works hard to accomplish his goals and is willing to help. Leaving Valley Heights, Mason wants to be remembered as a calm and laid back person that was always kind.
