Valley Heights USD #498

EIGHT IS GREAT, 2024 TVL FORENSIC CHAMPS. For the 8^th straight year in a row, the Valley Heights Forensic team are TVL Champs.  Sixteen forensic students travelled to Centralia on April 3^rd to compete with their pieces and hopefully qualify for State and help their team to a 1^st place finish.  Every single student qualified one or two of their pieces for the finals round, this has only happened a couple of times throughout the years. In addition, many students qualified or requalified for State Champs. The students and placings are listed below, (*represents a previous State Champs qualifier):

Prose:

Carter Germann 1^st – Champs qualifier, Morgan Vinduska  - 4^th, Lawson Stryker - 5^th

Poetry:

*Saige Wilcox – 1^st Champs, Callie Schmidt – 6^th (Freshman, first time to finals round)

Solo Serious:

Solo Humorous:

Informative Speech:
