ROLLING IN PURPLE & WHITE. The annual Homecoming Parade will be held at 2 P.M. at the Blue Rapids Square. Our Valley Heights Student Council members and sponsor, Mrs. Parker, have dedicated their time into making the parade run smoothly and fun for everyone. Junior Dino Conti said, “I enjoy getting to march in the band for the parade and then run to the football float to ride on the firetruck with the rest of the players.”
All high school students put time and effort into their class floats the week before Homecoming. “Decorating the junior class float was chaotic, but with everyone’s help, it got done quickly,” said junior Isabella Smith. “I love getting to catch the emotion and action through the camera lens. I also enjoy being in the parade with the volleyball team and seeing all of our fans,” said senior Ava Smith. Come out for the Valley Heights Homecoming parade, wear your purple, and show your school spirit!
