TAKE DOWN OF THE BULLDOGS. Last Friday, the Valley Heights Mustangs played Bennington High School Bulldogs in their Homecoming game. Junior Aiden Unruh, reflected on how the Mustangs played saying, “We played well as a team and communicated well on offense and defense.” The final score was 62-12. Freshman Preston Smerchek’s thought process going into the game with the team was, “to stay confident in their abilities, to stay resilient and not give up through the whole game.” This is the Mustangs highest scoring game of the season. This Friday, the football team will travel to take on Herington to hopefully secure another win and improve their season record to 4-2.
