KEEP CHASING. Bryce Logan Wittgartner was born on October 27, 2007. He is the son of Chris and Tracy Taylor of Blue Rapids, and Steven and Christina Wittgartner of Emporia. His siblings are Ember, Lena, Emily, and Jeffrey.
Wittgartner is involved in All School Play, Forensics, and Golf one year; Art, FFA, Football, and Baseball three years; FCA and Basketball four years. 4-H is a non-school activity Bryce is involved in and he has been an officer for two years. His favorite memory from high school is all the games playing basketball on our home court.
Mrs. Oatney, Wittgartner’s senior mentor, has been helping him with this school year and what he intends to do after he graduates. After graduation, Wittgartner has future goals to storm chase in Tornado Alley. Reed Timmer, an American Meteorologist, has had the biggest impact on Wittgartner’s life because he inspired him to pursue his dreams in storm chasing.
Wittgartner’s favorite quote is “Keep Chasing,” because you always need to keep chasing. His ideal Saturday night would be hanging out with his family, bonus points, if they have taco salad for dinner. Something most people don't know about Bryce is that he has two families. He wants to be remembered as hardworking. Advice Bryce would give to underclassmen is do the best you can.
