EARLY SEASON BALLIN: The Junior High basketball season has started! Last week the Mustangs played the Clifton-Clyde Eagles on Tuesday November 17. The girls were able to secure two wins with the A team winning 31-20 and the B Team winning 36-4. The boys went 2 for 3 that night against the Eagles with the A team winning 41-30, the B Team winning 19-14, and an unfortunate loss with the C Team losing 20-32.
Coach Nolte says, “I’m feeling confident in this team this year. They're two and two. They've played a couple of tough games and a couple of really good games.” Nolte's goal by the end of the season is to be able to play in the championship in the BVL tournament. Eighth grader Cooper Watt says, “My favorite part about going to practice is being able to spend competitive time with his friends.”
