HIGH SCHOOL HOOPS. The high school basketball teams have taken the court by starting with two-a-days on Monday, November 17. Head coach of the boy’s basketball team, Kenny Steinfort, mentioned, “I am looking forward to this upcoming season and the growth we’ll see in the players throughout. We’ve had a good week of practice and we have a lot of good kids out this year.” All of his players are eager to start off the season. Junior Everson Parker says, “I think we have a lot of opportunities this year, and if we work together as a team we could be really good offensively and defensively.”
For our Lady Mustangs, head coach Jordan Broxterman is looking forward to another season sharing, “I have been excited for months, everybody has been working hard and I am glad to be back in the gym.” Senior Josie Parker reflected on her past seasons sharing, “As a senior looking back on my basketball career I can wholeheartedly say that I have improved my mindset and communication skills. I am thrilled to see what this season has in store because we have a great group of girls out and we all push each other in a positive way and make practice a fun environment.”
