A new social game called Imposter has grown in popularity from how easy it spread on social media. It has been one of the most talked about viral games on TikTok, with creators sharing short clips of entertaining rounds of the game. The best part about the game is how simple it is to catch on, you don’t need any gaming experience to play.
It is played through the app Fake It, where a group of people get a secret word except for “the imposter,” one player who doesn’t see the word but gets one hint word. Players will take turns giving one word clues related to the word while the imposter tries to guess it without being caught. At the end of the round the players vote on who they think the imposter was. It’s a great game to play at holiday parties, family gatherings, with friends, and even at school. Senior Chad Bargdill says, “It's an amazing idea that stimulates the brain to widen your vocabulary. Getting into a group of people and getting to play the game just makes the day a whole lot better.” It makes for a good laugh and friendly chaos.
