DREAM BOLDLY. Kadence Grace Pierson was born on February 13, 2008 to Kevin and Lisa Pierson. Kadence is the middle child to her older brother, Tristan, and younger brother, Hayden. Kadence has been involved in FACS and KAYS 4 years; Art Club and Scholars Bowl 3 years; Journalism, All School Play, StuCo, FBLA, and Golf 2 years; and Vocal, Cheer, and NHS 1 year.
Kadence's ideal Saturday night is staying in with her cat, Simon, and watching romance movies. According to Kadence, she is a “foodie" who enjoys all kinds of food. Burgers and fries, however, always come out on top. Kadence's mom has had the most impact on her life, describing her as “her best friend who has supported her throughout high school.” One thing people might not know about Kadence is that she has rescued and rehabilitated two cats! The achievement Kadence is most proud of is qualifying for FBLA Nationals twice.
After graduation, Kadence plans to attend K-State to earn a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship. Her dream is to open a pet rescue and save all different types of animals from euthanasia. In the future, she hopes to have a big family and a successful business. Advice she would give underclassmen is to “Always be yourself and follow your dreams!” When she leaves the Valley Heights community she wants to be remembered as someone who always made people laugh.
