ALL ABOUT LOVE. This Saturday was the day for love! The legend of St. Valentines starts with a priest, St. Valentine, who defied the Emperor Claudius II by secretly marrying couples, so that men could stay home and not go to war. Here at Valley Heights we celebrate Valentine’s Day not by having secret weddings, but by having FBLA sell Valentine’s Grams to our whole district. One Gram is a Dr. Pepper with a Hershey's bar. Sophomore Teagan Spoonts says, “I think it's a great Valentine’s gift if you forgot one for your partner, and it's also cheap!” Valentine’s Day is a great day to show your love to the people who mean a lot to you.
