GET YOUR GREEN ON! Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated every March 17th. It is a vibrant holiday, set to commemorate Saint Patrick, a patron saint of Ireland! The day is marked by parades and the wearing of green attire. People eat Irish foods such as beef and cabbage, paired with a cup of Guinness, which is a beer that is malty sweet with hints of coffee and chocolate.
65% of the Valley Heights student body celebrate this holiday, with 85% wearing green attire. In one word Saint Patrick's Day would be described as “green” by many of our students. When Rilo Shill was asked what he would do if he encountered a pot of gold he said “I would share the wealth among fellow leprechauns.”
