SINGING INTO SPRING. Last week the Valley Heights choir went to TVL music at Washington County. The JH/HS choir sang “My Way Back Home” by Althouse and “Shut De Do” by Hayes and got a II rating! The JH/HS band played "Ancient Voices" and “Black Forest Overture” by Sweeney. The band got a II as well! For the individual competitions students scored the following:

Dino Conti, Trumpet Solo- I
Juliet Busey, Tenor Sax Solo- II
Elsee Martin, Clarinet Solo- II
Osric Nemechek, Trombone Solo- II
Senior Carter Germann shared “TVL Music is a really good way for high school and junior high students to get some experience with performing music at competitions in a fun way. I got to perform two songs "Brother Will Brother John’ and “Little Irish Girl” which received a I rating which is the best you can get!”
