SENIOR ASSASSIN 101. At the end of the school year, seniors are not only counting the days down to graduation but they are also participating in one of the newest traditions. Senior Assassin, is a game where participants are challenged to create strategies to eliminate their classmates while avoiding being eliminated themselves. The game materials are swimming goggles and floaties which provide the person wearing them immunity when they are traveling or visiting “unsafe zones" and a water gun to take out their opponents. This game is a way to bond with the class as a whole and create unforgettable memories. We interviewed several seniors to hear about their experiences, strategies and moments so far that have made this senior assassin one to remember.
Lili Slifer says “My strategy to staying alive is to stay out of sight and just avoid going out.” She also shares that “ I've been betrayed by Kadence Pierson, she tells people where I am and who I have as a target."
Some of the rules of the game are the following:
No eliminations at school or sponsored events
No eliminations at work
Goggles and floaties must be visible
Location must be turned on at all times
Video of elimination must be approved
Krista Porter shares “This game has definitely made me more paranoid, I check the backseat of my car and sometimes in the middle of the night I wake up super scared and put my goggles on.”
One message Krista shares to her target is “I will get you out no matter what you think, so WATCH OUT!”
