Second Day at State Convention

STATE FBLA: MAKE YOUR MARK. The state FBLA leadership conference was held on March 30th and 31st. Our Valley Heights chapter took 25 students to Topeka to compete in their events. The final day consisted of the role play events and the awards ceremony. Chad Bargdill, first year FBLA member says, “District and State FBLA has been such an exciting experience. Violet and I have been working so hard on our presentation and it finally paid off!” Violet Slifer and Chad Bargdill qualified for Nationals, getting 3rd place in their event for Visual Design. Freshman Guen Conti got tenth in Tech Support. Unfortunately, there were technical difficulties with the objective tests, so the students who are competing in these tests will have to take them at a later date, so wish them good luck!
