GTYK YOUR HOCO CANDIDATES. Your 2026-2027 Homecoming candidates are Paige Miller, Lindsay Gray, Avery Stevenson, Aiden Unruh, Everson Parker, and Charlie Warders. Through this interview, get a closer look at some unknown tidbits of information for our candidates.

Everson Parker believes if he were a school lunch he would be a Bosco stick. “I know it's a fan favorite lunch when served, so I want to believe that everyone likes me.” Unruh on the other hand, shares “I think I would like a BBQ rib sandwich, because I'm tough.” Charlie Warders says “Probably chicken and waffles, because I can be a bit salty but I’m also sweet at times.”

One fun fact you may not know about candidate Stevenson is that she used to be obsessed with Dora the Explorer. When she was little, she dressed as her for four years straight for Halloween! Avery states, “I'm most excited about the memories I will get to make alongside the candidates.”

To describe their personality with one song, Paige Miller chose "Bodak Yellow” by Cardi B, Lindsay Gray selected “Springsteen” by Eric Church, and Aiden Unruh picked “Two Dozen Roses” by Shenandoah. For "shouldn't have done that" moments, Everson and Charlie share “They should have never joined 'the google doc' in 7th grade." Lindsay Gray tells us, “I hid Mr. Nolte's pens in 8th grade and he couldn't find them for the longest time, that made him very, very upset!”  Paige Miller said “It probably wasn't the best idea staying up till 5a.m. at the K-State Teacher Conference, it was rough the next day.”

Our Homecoming King and Queen will be announced during halftime of the football game tonight, Friday, September 11.
