PROGRESSIVE PANEL. On October 23, 2026 the Valley Heights Juniors performed a Progressive panel for English. To prepare, students chose a progressive era reformer to write a research paper. For the research paper they had to find out what they did to change society, if they changed any laws, and about their childhood and education.For the panel, Juniors argued with others about certain topics that the person that they dressed up as would agree or disagree with. Leah Steinfort dressed up as Jane Addams, who created the Hull House and was also the first woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. Leah shared, “Our panel went well. We had a lot of debates, some good and some bad but overall it was fun.” Juniors learned a lot while working on this entertaining unit.
