DAY OF SERVICE. Once again, The Valley Heights student body decided to take a day and do service around the Waterville and Blue Rapids communities. The students were led by the 2026-2027 StuCo staff. Throughout the day, students were able to clean the fair grounds, Opera House, city parks, and grade schools. “I loved making my community a better place for everyone,” Tyler Pack shared.
Tidying up the community spaces was not all the kids did. Some of the students led STEM and Art projects with younger students, while others led fun games in the gyms of the elementary schools. “I loved seeing the good work and everyone having fun in our communities,” Dino Conti, Stuco Vice President, explained. Dino continued to share, “All the kids loved being around the older kids and spending time with all of us.” The day of service was a very fun and fulfilling day and we can't wait to continue our work throughout the coming years.
