PRESENT HAPPINESS.

“Don’t let the sadness from the past and the fear of the future ruin the happiness of the present.” This quote from Wiz Khalifa inspires Jeremy to always live life for its best moments and enjoy what he has now. Valley Heights Senior, Jeremy Neff, was born November 30, 2002 and was raised in Blue Rapids. Throughout high school Jeremy has been involved in a number of activities including Art Club, FFA, KAYs, and the All School Play, as well as band, Scholars Bowl, and Cross Country.

Outside of school Jeremy enjoys spending his time writing his own rap music, skateboarding, and hanging out with his friends. Jeremy’s friend group is extremely important to him and he “wouldn’t trade the time we’ve spent together for the world.” Many of his favorite parts of high school involve memories and inside jokes that he shares with his friends. The most influential person in his life is his mom, Erica Buskirk. “My mom has always been there for me and I wouldn’t be who I am today without her,” says the senior.

After graduation, Jeremy wants to move away to spend some time finding out what life has in store. Plant science has always interested Jeremy, so he has considered studying botany and horticulture. When he leaves, Jeremy wants others to remember him as a person who is always honest and respectful. Most importantly, Jeremy strives to be a caring person who is always willing to help others.
