Cesar Aguirre

Philosopher William James once said, “Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.” This quote inspires Cesar to always care about others and treat them with kindness, even if you don’t get recognition for it. Cesar Giobani Aguirre was born February 17, 2003 to Cesar Aguirre and Patricia Catalan. Cesar says, “My parents have influenced my life greatly and have taught me many life lessons, big and small. The things I’ve learned from them have helped shape me into the person I want to be.” Cesar values all of the people in his life and especially loves spending quality time with his friends and family. On the weekend, he can be found either driving around, going out to eat, or hanging out with his friends. Cesar has also stayed busy participating in Art Club, FFA, Robotics, Band, the All School Play, and Football. “Football is my favorite part of high school,” Cesar continues to say, “The feeling under Friday night lights is incomparable. It is almost like a safe place, leaving the world and working together as a team to achieve greatness.”

Cesar advises younger classmen, “Be happy and be a kid. Start focusing on the things you love and the people you love. It’s the people who choose to help and care for you that make it worth pushing forward.” After high school, Cesar plans on attending Washburn University to pursue a degree in engineering. Cesar hopes that in ten years he will be settled down with his own family, content and happy with life while always trying to improve his character. “I don’t try to become a better version of myself so that others will remember me, but so that I can be comfortable in my own skin.”
