WINTER BLUES. “To combat the winter blues, I cuddle my dog and watch TV wrapped up in a warm blanket,” says junior, Payton Woodward. The winter blues have come up in full approach. These blues have brought cold weather, some sickness, and even some snow! The Valley Heights community and surrounding areas have had a few snow storms. The latest snow storm was January 14 & 15. This storm brought some rain, and eventually snow. There have also been a few chilly days this past week, with temperatures in the low 20s. Aubrey Umscheid, freshman, says “I spend a lot of my indoor time watching movies, hanging out with family, playing games, and drinking hot chocolate.”
