DANCE PARTNER. “Drill team lasts year round, so it takes lots of commitment and dedication to get the dances down. I've loved being on the dance team the last four years, it has helped me become more comfortable being in front of our community and that is a skill that will help me as I leave these walls in May,” says senior Claire Nolte.
On Friday, February 11, 2022 the Mustang Magic Drill Team performed with the Centralia Panthers dance team. Dance captain, Maggie Toerber, choreographed the routine with the Centralia captains.
Nolte goes on to say, “Collaborating with another team helped us not only with more ideas for choreography, but also being able to see their team's atmosphere. I enjoyed sharing cinnamon rolls and Sunny D after an early morning practice with the Centralia dance team.”
The Mustang Magic Drill Team has been extremely busy this year, but sophomore Brooke Porter says, “I wouldn’t change anything about the early morning practices and all of the laughs the team has shared throughout our performances and practices.”
