juniors and seniors at museum

AUSCHWITZ MUSEUM.

“Something very interesting we learned about Auschwitz is that 1.1 million people died in Auschwitz, and one million of them were Jews, and that was only in Auschwitz,” says Junior, Robbie Stryker. On Wednesday, February 23rd, the Juniors and Seniors went to Kansas City to the Auschwitz museum. Abigail Steinfort, senior, says, “Junior year was very helpful learning about the camps that the Jews were sent to. It was very eye opening to hear about the brutal realities that the Jews went through.” Robbie Stryker says, “I think it was crazy that the Nazis could control that many people without any rebel.” Trenton Lecuyer, senior, says, “before I went to the museum I did not know that Polish people and soldiers went to the camp.” Many Juniors and Seniors enjoyed this trip and learned a little more about our world’s history.
