SPRING BREAK SHENANIGANS. A week with no alarms and no schedule. Spring Break is a vacation period in the early spring for universities and schools that originated in the United States in the 1930s. It is now practiced in many other countries as well. “My favorite thing about spring break is being able to relax and not having to worry about school,” says Janelle Medina. For Valley Heights, spring break is right around the corner. This year, spring break is March 14-18. Jay-Lynn Bauer, says “For spring break this year, I will be getting my wisdom teeth out and celebrating a friend’s birthday.” For others, Alabama, Florida, and North Dakota are a few popular destinations places students will be traveling to.
